I have exhibited all over the world including the USA, UK and large parts of Europe. Now I’m based in the South of France.
My artworks make huge statements! The large format abstract pieces I produce are a display of lines, colour and texture translating into an artistic vision. The use of colour works well with my lines, thus producing paintings that are full of motion and energy which makes for very compelling art. My paintings are colourful and textured ranging from deep rich colours to neutral based tones. I push the boundaries of what can be produced on canvas, providing the viewer a feast to look at.
My other influences come from the years of travelling around Southeast Asia, the Americas, Australia and New Zealand, with the vibrant colours and textures, there is a notable resemblance from these parts of the world.
My medium is mainly acrylic but I also use oil and emulsion paint. For texture I tend to use an array of materials such as stones, earth, wax, cement and adhesive.
One of my greatest influences is Jackson Pollock. My work strikes a similar balance between order, chaos, simplicity and complexity which instantly bears the marks of that influence.
